We should be thankful to God for giving us the opportunity to live on this beautiful planet.
Did you know that what you eat can impact your sleep? If you are finding it hard to sleep every night, then you may need to take a look at what you eat during the day.
Dr. Jennifer Ashton, who came on “Good Morning America,” made a list of food that you should and shouldn’t eat before bed so that you can sleep well all night.
You should eat seeds, eggs, honey, bananas and dairy products before you hit the sack. If it’s night and you are feeling really hungry, then you can eat food that is rich in carbohydrates such as bread and cheese, crackers and nuts, or cereal and milk.
However, you should avoid eating foods that are spicy such as jalapenos because they can hurt your sleep. Steer away from chocolate as it has caffeine in it. Although a lot of people claim that alcohol helps you sleep well, you should avoid consuming it as it affects the quality of sleep. Last but not the least, don’t eat anything that has high amounts of protein because it keeps your brain and digestive system active throughout the night.
