As God wants us to enjoy this beautiful world as much as possible, he has given us the freedom to pursue our dreams and passion. Regardless of what they may be, we should show our gratefulness to God by making them a reality. We should work hard and pray to God every single day. We make God proud of his creations when we put our heart and soul into our dreams and passion.
As Joanna and Chip Gaines spend most of their time on “Fixer Upper” making the houses of other people look spectacular, it isn’t much a surprise to find out that even their home is magnificent.
When you ask them about their favorite furniture in the house, they have one answer – the antique kitchen island. Joanna Gaines told HGTV, “I probably stalked that thing for two years.” The couple found the piece in Waco and got it painted in Sherwin-Williams’ Alabaster White.
Houzz says that the antique island was used in a church before it became their most-loved piece of furniture. Joanna also adores her kitchen’s concrete countertops because of their industrial and timeless feel. The large window on top of the sink gives her a direct view of her kids while they play outside.
However, next season won’t be featuring Joanna and Chip Gaines as they want to leave the show. Joanna said, “We really want to focus on this break and take a step back to let this all soak in. Regardless of what the future holds, we are hopeful for what God has for us and our family in this next season.”
